Through the Internet voting or wireless text messaging, viewers from around the world will have a voice in the outcome of CBS' upcoming series ROCK STAR: INXS, which premieres on CBS on Monday, July 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and is broadcast on the Network three times each week.

Following each Tuesday's show in which all the participants perform, viewers watching worldwide will have a four-hour window (times may vary by region) to cast their vote for their favorite performer. In the U.S., viewers can vote via rockstar.msn.com, MSN� Messenger or Verizon Wireless text messaging; in Canada and Australia viewers can also vote via rockstar.msn.com and by text messaging through their local wireless carrier. Viewers in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia will only be able to vote by text messaging. Viewers can vote as many times as they like.

The three performers with the least votes will then have to perform again on Wednesday night's broadcast where INXS will then make the ultimate decision to eliminate one aspiring rock star.

ROCK STAR: INXS, will begin with a special one-hour premiere on Monday, July 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), followed by a one-hour broadcast on Tuesday, July 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and a half-hour edition on Wednesday, July 13 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Beginning the following week, ROCK STAR: INXS will be seen regularly on Mondays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and Wednesdays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

Hosted by rock guitarist Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke, ROCK STAR: INXS, from "Survivor" executive producer Mark Burnett, combines the world of rock music with relationship-style unscripted drama, performance competition and a weekly contestant elimination. The last singer standing will become the lead singer of the internationally renowned band INXS and embark on a worldwide concert tour with the band and be part of the group's new album.

The 15 performers will be housed together in a Hollywood Hills mansion. Each week will feature a taped reality segment focusing on the performers' relationship and activities (Monday's episode), along with a performance episode (Tuesdays) and weekly elimination show (Wednesdays).

The series is produced by Mark Burnett Productions. Mark Burnett, David Goffin ("American Idol"), Lisa Hennessy ("The Contender") and INXS managers David Edwards and Michael Murchison are executive producers. Conrad Riggs is co-executive producer.
