WIL SEABROOK IS THE SECOND PERFORMER ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "ROCK STAR: INXS"

Thirteen Contestants Remain In the Competition To Become The Lead Singer of the Band INXS

LOS ANGELES, July 15 -- After falling into the bottom three in viewer votes and after a collective decision by the band, INXS, Wil Seabrook of Pasadena, CA was eliminated Wednesday night from the competition to become the new lead singer of "Rock Star: INXS"

During Wednesday night's broadcast, the musician originally from Morgantown, NC learned his fate from Tim Fariss, one of the members of INXS, who told him that he just wasn't right for their band, INXS. Wil, along with Suzie McNeil and Tara Sloane, who were the three with the fewest viewer votes, had to perform an INXS song live in front of a studio audience, to fight to stay in the competition.

Wil performed "Need You Tonight", which was chosen by INXS for him, but they felt his subdued performance style would not work best with the band. Wil becomes the second person eliminated from the competition, following Dana Robbins who was eliminated in the premiere episode on Monday.

The thirteen remaining performers will continue in the competition vying to become to new lead singer of the band, INXS. ROCK STAR: INXS airs regularly on Mondays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and Wednesdays (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT). Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke are the hosts of the show.

Encores of Tuesday and Wednesday's editions of "Rock Star: INXS" will be broadcast on a special night, Saturday, July 16 (9:00-10:30 PM, ET/PT).
