A wealthy surgeon�s daughter, Claire Winslow (Kristin Dattilo, �The Chris Isaak Show�), plans on surprising her fianc�, Will Gallagher (Michael Lowry, �All My Children�), on his business trip in Zurich. The tables are turned when to Claire�s surprise her fianc� is nowhere to be found and the company he supposedly works for is nonexistent. A baffling clue leads Claire on a dangerous quest to locate her missing fianc� in �Coronado,� a two-hour Hallmark Channel World Premiere television event, from the Academy Award� winning producers of �Independence Day,� premiering Saturday, October 15 (9/8c).

Upon landing in Central America�s El Coronado, Claire quickly discovers the small country is embroiled in a political coup. Frightened and alone, she is befriended by a seasoned American reporter (Clayton Rohner, �The Relic�) on assignment in the third world country. Together they embark on a journey that takes them deep within the secret rebel encampment which may hold the key to finding her fianc�.
