The National Center for Family Literacy has endorsed �The Reading Room,� a
two-hour Hallmark Channel Original movie about humanity, dignity and one man�s
legacy to fulfill his dying wife�s last request to restore both to the inner city
neighborhood of the couple�s youth. �The Reading Room� is also supported by Reading
is Fundamental, First Book, the United States Navy Memorial, and dozens of other
organizations who strive to uplift humanity through reading and literacy.
�The Reading Room,� stars Academy Award� nominee (�The Great White Hope�)
and three-time Emmy� Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner (�I Know What
the Deaf Man Heard�) James Earl Jones, Emmy� Award winner (�Cagney & Lacey�)
Georg Stanford Brown (who acts in and directs �The Reading Room�), Emmy� Award
nominee Tim Reid (�Frank�s Place�), �Over There� star Keith Robinson, �Band of
