PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN ON CRUMBS, NEW COMEDY SERIES PREMIERING THIS SEASON ON ABC
Production has begun in Los Angeles on Crumbs, a frantic family comedy with two estranged brothers -- Mitch (Fred Savage, The Wonder Years, Welcome to Mooseport,) and Jody Crumb ( Eddie McClintock, Stark Raving Mad, AUSA,) -- who reunite in their small hometown to deal with their mother, Suzanne, (Two time Emmy Award-winner Jane Curtin, Kate & Allie, 3rd Rock from the Son), who has just been released from a psychiatric facility and has yet to discover her ex-husband, Billy (William Devane, 24), is about to have a baby with his new girlfriend.
Central to everything is the dynamic between Mitch, the prodigal son who is returning home after a failed Hollywood career, and Jody, the older brother who stayed behind to run the family restaurant business.
Crumbs stars Fred Savage as Mitch Crumb, Jane Curtin as Suzanne Crumb, William Devane as Billy Crumb, Eddie McClintock as Jody Crumb, Maggie Lawson as Andrea Malone and Reginald Ballard as Elvis.
Marco Pennette created the series and serves as executive producer. Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola are executive producers. Crumbs is from Tollin/Robbins Productions in association with Touchstone Television.
