Premiere of the 'Ghost Hunters Halloween Special' Tops Off the Channel's Halloween Programming Block

NEW YORK, NY--October 14, 2005--Tune in for over 100 hours of movies, miniseries and originals during SCI FI's 13 Days of Halloween. Beginning at 9 AM on Wednesday, October 19, with a marathon of season 2 of 'Ghost Hunters' and finishing up on Halloween night with the brand-new 'Ghost Hunters Halloween Special' (@10 PM), SCI FI is featuring a selection of horror and sci-fi favorites, all leading up to All Hallows Eve. ALL NEW! 'GHOST HUNTERS HALLOWEEN SPECIAL'
October 31 @ 10 PM

Jason, Grant and the 'Ghost Hunters' team are joined by an old colleague in their investigation of several reported "hot spots" in Savannah, Georgia. Investigations in the spooky city include a legendary cemetery that serves as the final resting place for Revolutionary War heroes and victims of the 1820 Yellow Fever epidemic.

'GHOST HUNTERS' SEASON 2 MARATHON
Wednesday, October 19, 9 AM-9 PM

'Ghost Hunters' follows a group of real-life ghostbusters as they investigate reported hauntings throughout the country. Plumbers by trade, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson head up a group of intrepid souls that are far from the usual collection of bespectacled Ph.D.s. They're ordinary, everyday people with an interest in getting to the bottom of your otherworldly disturbances. This season, they visit some of the most reportedly haunted places in the United States, including: the HMS Queen Mary, the prison where 'Shawshank Redemption' was filmed in Mansfield, Ohio, San Jose's Winchester House, the USS North Carolina and Lizzie Borden's home.
