CANDIDATES TOSS IT UP ON NBC'S "THE APPRENTICE: MARTHA STEWART" WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 9-10 PM ET/PT

Martha Stewart re-organizes the teams and shakes up a new task

NEW YORK - October 18, 2005 - Martha Stewart tosses up a salad and the team roster on NBC's "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" as candidates create a limited edition salad dressing for Wish-Bone (October 19, 9-10 pm ET). Before assigning a task, Stewart addresses the candidates in an impromptu meeting. "This is what we'd do here at Martha Stewart Living if a team wasn't working, we would re-shuffle, we would bring in different blood..." says Stewart, after four consecutive losses for "Matchstick." "Without a sense of teamwork I think it's really hard to build a great business."

Candidates must create a Limited Edition salad dressing for Wish-Bone, making their own recipe, designing the packaging and selling it at two Stew Leonard's locations. Each team tries to sell as many bottles of salad dressing as possible. One team gets pushy, while the other gets reprimanded for foul sales tactics. Back in the conference room, Martha Stewart, alongside Charles Koppelman and Alexis Stewart, reminds them, "this is not a game, this is a job interview...remember that."

"Our research with consumers revealed that there are more salad lovers in America now than ever," said Matthew McCarthy, Senior Brand Development Manager of Wish-Bone?. "Delighting salad lovers with exciting and delicious new flavors is our mission. The Limited Edition concept provides a fun way to involve consumers and deliver on what they really want."

Following the episode, the "original apprentice" Alexis Stewart, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. Consultant "confesses" her love of Wish-Bone to her "Apprentice" co-star Charles Koppelman, Chairman of the Board, MSLO. They encourage viewers to go to www.wish-bone.com to vote for the next Limited Edition dressing to be created and sold in stores in Spring 2006.

"MATCHSTICK" (Creatives): Jim, Bethenny, Marcela, David, Leslie

"PRIMARIUS" (Corporate): Howie, Amanda, Carrie, Jennifer, Dawna, Ryan, Sarah
