The "2005 American Music Awards" is asking the public to cast their votes for the T-Mobile Text-In Award, which will determine the fans' favorite from a list of top artists from each of the six major musical genres. The award will be revealed during the live telecast of the special, which airs TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Beginning October 19, 2005, T-Mobile USA subscribers can cast their vote for the T-Mobile Text-In Award. Standard text messaging charges apply for text messaging an entry. In addition, votes can also be cast via the Internet at ABC's site at ama.abc.com, and viewers of the "2005 American Music Awards" can also vote during the show via Enhanced TV by logging on to ABC.com and clicking on the Enhanced TV logo. Voting via text message and on ABC.com is now open and will conclude at approximately 10:00 p.m., ET during the show on November 22.
