The Boondocks� Sophomore Episode Earns Double-Digit Growth over Record-Setting Adult Swim Premiere Last Week

�The Trial of R. Kelly� Ranks #12 Among All Ad-Supported Basic Cable Programs for Adults 18-34 Delivery

Adult Swim Again Ranks #1 for the Week for Total Day Delivery of Adults 18-34, Adults 18-24

Outperforming its record-setting premiere on Adult Swim last week, the second episode of The Boondocks (Sunday, Nov. 13, 11 p.m. ET/PT), entitled �The Trial of R. Kelly,� scored across-the-board double-digit delivery and ratings growth among its target young adult demos, making it the most-watched program of the week on Adult Swim among adults 18-24 and men 18-24, according to Nielsen Media Research. The provocative new show from comic artist and series creator Aaron McGruder ranked #12 on the list of ad-supported basic cable�s top 50 shows of the week among adults 18-34 and helped drive the late-night service to a 33-week winning streak for total day delivery of adults 18-24 and men 18-24. Adult Swim also ranked #1 in total day delivery of men 18-34 for 30 of the last 33 weeks, and #1 in total day delivery of adults 18-34 for 29 of the last 33 weeks.

Renowned for tackling topical issues within his creative work for The Boondocks, McGruder didn�t disappoint viewers with �The Trial of R. Kelly,� which pitted brothers Huey and Riley on opposing sides of the hot-button �underage peeing� issue when R&B star R. Kelly comes to town. Highlights of The Boondocks� second presentation vs. its premiere, as well as Adult Swim�s overall performance, include the following:

- Adults 18-34 delivery (1,092,000) increased by 24%, and ratings (1.7) by 31%

- Adults 18-24 delivery (698,000) improved by 20%, and ratings (2.5) by 19%

- Men 18-34 delivery (737,000) grew by 24%, and ratings (2.2) by 22%

- Men 18-24 delivery (484,000) and ratings (3.4) both expanded by 21%

- Women 18-24 delivery (215,000) jumped by 19% , and ratings (1.6) by 23%

ADULT SWIM (Monday-Thursday, Saturday, 11 p.m.-6 a.m., Sunday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.)

- Adults 18-34 delivery totaled 439,000 and an 0.7 rating

- Adults 18-24 delivery totaled 257,000 and an 0.9 rating

- Men 18-34 delivery totaled 287,000 and an 0.9 rating

- Men 18-24 delivery totaled 173,000 and a 1.2 rating

- Adults 18-49 delivery totaled 561,000 and an 0.4 rating�ranked #6 among all ad-supported basic cable

The Boondocks tells the story of Huey and Riley, two kids who move from Chicago�s South Side to the suburbs with their granddad, Robert Jebediah Freeman. In moving to the quiet and safety of �The Boondocks��a.k.a. suburban Woodcrest�it�s Granddad�s hope that he can ignore his rambunctious grandkids and enjoy the fourth quarter of his life in peace. But Huey, a 10-year-old leftist revolutionary, and his 8-year-old misfit brother, Riley, don�t adapt to the new environment as well as expected.
