The largest audience and highest ratings in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER in five years, along with stellar performances by CRIMINAL MINDS and CSI: NY, led CBS to a Wednesday win in viewers, adults 25-54 and a virtual tie in adults 18-49 and an across-the-board November sweeps victory, according to preliminary affiliate Nielsen ratings for Nov. 30.
It marks another milestone November victory for CBS as the Network posts back-to-back wins in the key measures of viewers, adults 18-49 (tie, ABC) and adults 25-54 for the first time since the 1960s.
CBS's two consecutive November sweep wins in all measures is the first time any network has accomplished that feat since 1996.
CBS has now won five straight November sweeps in viewers, three straight in adults 25-54, two in a row in adults 18-49 and nine of the last 10 sweeps periods overall in viewers.

Testimony to the Network's dominance, CBS will win the November sweep by more than 3 million viewers and by a projected +0.5 ratings point in adults 25-54.
CBS's victory was fueled by the depth and breadth of its regular schedule with NCIS, COLD CASE, GHOST WHISPERER, OUT OF PRACTICE, CLOSE TO HOME, 48 HOURS MYSTERY and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, all achieving series high ratings while CSI, CSI: NY, SURVIVOR: GUATEMALA, THE KING OF QUEENS, CSI: MIAMI, TWO AND A HALF MEN and NUMB3RS posted season high ratings in viewers and/or key demographics.
In addition to dominating in viewers, CBS showcased tremendous across-the-board demographic strength.
CBS won 83 half-hours this November in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, more than ABC (53), FOX (14) and NBC (13), combined.
CBS had more returning series posting increases this November in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 than ABC or NBC. CBS has 5 (NCIS, COLD CASE, CBS SUNDAY MOVIE, CRIMETIME SAT, 48 HOURS MYSTERY), ABC has 2 ("Lost," "Monday Night Football") and NBC has none.
Among the Network's freshman series, four series post significant time period improvement in both 25-54 and 18-49 this November versus last year: GHOST WHISPERER +52% in adults 25-54, +48% in adults 18-49; CLOSE TO HOME +39% in adults 25-54, +48% in adults 18-49; CRIMINAL MINDS +19% in adults 25-54, +2% in adults 18-49 and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER +9% in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
