GSN Brings Back an Updated Version of the Classic Game Show 'I'VE GOT A SECRET' - Weeknight Series Premieres April 17 at 11 PM ET/PT

The Top-Rated Show From the '50's Returns to Prime Time Hosted by Bil Dwyer and Featuring Frank DeCaro, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Jermaine Taylor and Billy Bean

PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 13 -- GSN, the network for games, is bringing back one of the most successful game shows of all-time, I'VE GOT A SECRET. Premiering Monday, April 17 from 11:00-11:30 PM ET/PT, the updated series will feature a panel with its own unique chemistry and will air Monday through Friday in the time period. The announcement was made today at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour by Ian Valentine, Senior Vice President of Programming, GSN.

"I am very excited to announce that GSN will air a fresh new version of the popular game show, I'VE GOT A SECRET," said Valentine. "Our audience will enjoy a smart, hilarious new panel, and a bevy of crazy and fun secrets."

Putting a new twist on an old classic, I'VE GOT A SECRET includes an eclectic foursome including today's most outrageous comics, a Broadway dancer and an ex Major League Baseball player.

I'VE GOT A SECRET is hosted by Bil Dwyer (EXTREME DODGEBALL, THAT 70'S HOUSE), who is charged with keeping his panelists in line. The panelists include Frank DeCaro (Sirius Radio's "The Frank DeCaro Show", "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"), Suzanne Westenhoefer ("Late Show with David Letterman", "Politically Incorrect"), Jermaine Taylor (Broadway actor and dancer) and Billy Bean (former outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers).

For each game, the special guest whispers their secret to Dwyer while it is also shown to the studio and at-home audience. Each panelist puts the guest through the ringer for 40 seconds, asking a series of questions in order to figure out their secret. If they are unsuccessful, the next panelist gets their shot at cross-examining.

The original version of I'VE GOT A SECRET premiered in 1952 and ran for 15 years. Hosted by Garry Moore who was later replaced by Steve Allen, the series moved into the top ten in the second year, remaining there for the next four seasons, with its highest rating during 1957-58 when it ranked fifth.

I'VE GOT A SECRET is executive produced by Burt Dubrow ("The New Tom Green Show," "Jerry Springer") and Jean Wiegman ("Trivia Unwrapped," "The New Tom Green Show") for Burt Dubrow Productions.
