MTV Pimps Madonna�s Ride

�Pimp Madonna�s Ride� premieres on MTV, Sunday February 19th @ 9.30pm

Tim Westwood and the �Pimp My Ride UK� team are back, and this time they�re on an extra special mission for an A-list celebrity fan�

Last month, Madonna had a problem. She was about to film the video to her latest single, �Sorry�, but one of the video�s stars � a white van � was looking worryingly plain. So she got in touch with Westwood and begged the Pimp My Ride crew to turn her VW delivery van into a disco diva�s paradise! To see the transformation of Madonna�s motor, tune in to �Pimp Madonna�s Ride� on MTV on Sunday February 19th at 9.30pm.

Madonna had a very clear idea of what she wanted for her pimped out van. �Limos are out, vans are in! I want the walls to throb! Please MTV, pimp my ride!� she pleaded. With that in mind, Westwood and the boys set to work turning her LT35, high-top white van into a 70�s style disco-on-wheels for her and her dancers.

Says Westwood, �When we got the call to pimp a busy working mother of two�s delivery van, how could we say no?�

The transformation was outstanding. The bog-standard white van, which Madonna confessed looked as if it was �on its way to fix someone�s leaking toilet� was turned into an emporium of decadence complete with purple shag pile carpet and a mirrored disco ball.

In keeping with the request for a �70�s nightclub on wheels�, and taking into account Madonna�s favourite colour, the van was also fitted with lilac leather couches and a special stereo system was built into the plush leather and velvet walls. Fake dark purple snakeskin was also added to the vertical columns enclosing the vehicle�s light fittings.

A thrilled Madonna declared �I'm feeling so pimp gangster right now that this is gonna take us to a whole other level. We're gonna pimp some horizons that have never been pimped before!�

�Pimp My Ride UK�, which turns rusty bangers into blinging motors, will return to MTV for a new series in April.
