FOX'S "AMERICA'S MOST WANTED" AND ST. LOUIS RAPPER PENELOPE JONES TEAM UP SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Penelope Jones Appears on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED To Help Solve the Senseless Murder of Her Brother
Penelope Jones, a burgeoning Motown Records hip-hop star, will appear on FOX's long-running crime-fighting show, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, in hopes of solving the murder of her brother, Tony Jones. Tony was fatally shot in October 2003 in front of his 6-year-old son in their Illinois apartment. Penelope, a St. Louis native, says: "Not only is he my brother, but I'm part of that community. I hope that my presence will help generate leads and make people who may know something about my brother's murder come forward." AMW asks viewers for their help in finding Tony Jones' killer Saturday, Feb. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Four days after the broadcast, on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 1:00 PM ET, Penelope will be on the AMW.COM forums to discuss her brother's case and any new leads generated by its profile on AMW.
A single mother and a self-admitted "reformed hustler," Penelope has worked hard to turn her own life around, becoming a fitness trainer before signing with Motown Records as a rapper, with her debut solo album scheduled for release this spring. Her debut single, "Miss You (With That Foolishness)," will be going for radio ads in a few weeks.
AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK, beginning its 19th season, airs Saturdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. AMERICA'S MOST WANTED: AMERICA FIGHTS BACK is produced by STF Productions, Inc. Lance Heflin is executive producer. Anyone can contact AMW anonymously by calling 1-800-CRIME-TV or by visiting AMW.COM.
