BRAVO, THE WEINSTEIN COMPANY, AND MIRAMAX SEW UP A THIRD SEASON OF THE EMMY-NOMINATED HIT FASHION DESIGN COMPETITION SERIES 'PROJECT RUNWAY'

OPEN CALLS FOR DESIGNERS TO BE HELD IN NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, MIAMI AND CHICAGO

NEW YORK -- March 6, 2006 -- As the record breaking second season of Bravo's hit reality series "Project Runway" heads into its final weeks, The Weinstein Company, Bravo, and Miramax have announced that they are bringing the Emmy-nominated premier reality series set in the fashion industry back for a third season. The announcement was made jointly today by Lauren Zalaznick, President of Bravo, and Harvey Weinstein, Co-Chairman of The Weinstein Company.

Harvey Weinstein stated, "'Project Runway' is a wonderful inspiration for aspiring fashion designers and the third season is sure to be filled with as much edge and excitement as the first two. We couldn't have asked for a better partner than Bravo to work with on this show."

"Together with the Weinstein Company we have been able to show these designers' passion for creativity and incredible talent to an ever-growing audience," said Zalaznick. "We can't wait to get back out there and give another crop of budding designers the opportunity of a lifetime."

Supermodel Heidi Klum will return as host of the series, which gives aspiring designers a chance to break into the notoriously difficult-to-crack fashion world. The second season of this breakout series has generated critical acclaim and record ratings. The series has consistently been the top show on cable on Wednesdays among key demographics and has shattered the records set by the finale of season one, just eight weeks into the thirteen-week season. The series has been Wednesday's number one show on cable among adults 18-49 for the past seven weeks. Additionally, traffic to the 'Project Runway' micro-site on BravoTV.com has exploded, with 50 million page views and 2.5 million unique visitors since it launched at the start of the season.

Open calls for designers interested in competing in the third season of "Project Runway" will be held in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago. For more details including dates, locations and official rules, applicants may visit www.BravoTV.com.

The Weinstein Company and Miramax are co-producing the show through their co-financing agreement. The Weinstein Company is the lead studio and is handling worldwide distribution.

"Project Runway" is executive produced by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of Magical Elves ("Project Greenlight," "Last Comic Standing," "Top Chef"). Heidi Klum and her managers Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha of NYC-based Full Picture also executive produce the series. Barbara Schneeweiss will oversee the production on behalf of The Weinstein Company.
