THE MASTERS TOURNAMENT TEES OFF ON UNIVERSAL HD

"Jaws" Fans Have Weekend of Terror

March xx, 2006 ? Burbank, CA ? Live from Augusta National Golf Club, the "70th Masters Tournament" will tee off on Universal HD on April 6th and 7th at 4:00pm (ET) in its native 1080i High Definition with 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound.

Universal HD takes baseball fans out to the ballgame on April 1st. Beginning at 7:00pm (ET), we will be bringing opening day to viewers with baseball-themed episodes of their favorite shows including "Century City," "Quantum Leap," "Monk," "Complete Savages" and the baseball feature "Ed."

"It's great to welcome the Masters back to Universal HD," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice-President Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable Entertainment. "We love offering viewers one of golf's finest events in true HD. We've also got events for sports and non-sports fans alike this month, including a celebration of Opening Day of baseball season on April 1, and some great new movies in HD."

"Jaws" fans can spend a horror-filled weekend with the infamous Great White. At 10:00pm (ET) on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd, we will give audiences the thrill of seeing "Jaws 2," "Jaws 3" and "Jaws: The Revenge" up close, in High Definition.

Beginning in April, Universal HD will be changing the schedule to bring more variety to primetime and weekend viewing. Movies will now air Mondays through Wednesdays at 10:00pm (ET), with added daytime and late night movies on the weekend. Prime Movies will continue to air at 9:00pm (ET) on Thursdays, 10:00pm (ET) on Fridays and Saturdays and 9:00pm (ET) on Sundays.

Viewer favorites "Monk" and "Battlestar Galactica" will continue to air on Saturday and Sunday nights ? "Monk" at 9:00pm (ET) and "Battlestar Galactica" at 8:00pm and 11:00pm (ET).

April's Prime Films (Thursdays at 9:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 10:00pm and Sundays at 9:00pm (ET)) will feature the following:
