Lifetime Movie Network Expands Both Programming and Online With New Monthly Showcase of Original Movies and Website LMN.tv

- First Original Movie Premieres in August -

NEW YORK, March 21 -- Lifetime Movie Network (LMN), the #1 movie network for women, the second highest-rated women's network behind only sibling Lifetime Television and among the top 10 basic cable networks in W18- 49,* today announced a programming expansion -- catapulting it among the basic cable network leaders in producing original movies -- with the premiere of a monthly showcase (12 per year) featuring the first movies ever produced exclusively for the network.

As well, the network also announced the launch of a brand new website, LMN.tv, uniquely designed for television movie buffs.

In making the announcement, Louise Henry Bryson, Executive Vice President/General Manager, Lifetime Movie Network, said, "These two new initiatives are natural evolutions in the spectacular growth of the network where W18-49 stay tuned longer than any other basic cable network in primetime.** As we've learned from our research, women can't get enough of the exhilarations and victories that make LMN's programming so distinctively captivating. Amid their busy, stress-filled lives, women are increasingly craving time, for themselves, with a product that speaks directly to them. Both on-air and online, our original movies and website fulfill exactly that need."

Debuting in August and continuing on the first Saturday evening of every month, LMN's original movies accompany the more than 240 regular premiere titles shown exclusively on the network.

Online, LMN.tv consists of new broadband features for LMN. The site will be divided into four sections:

- Movie Pages that feature broadband sneak peaks from over 100 movies, a dynamic user rating system and expanded full credits for each movie.

- An enhanced TV schedule, equipped with special viewer email alerts.

- A fan club for viewers who just can't get enough of LMN with testimonials submitted by users, message boards, a monthly newsletter and more.

- A new game section featuring LMN FLIXation, a multimedia trivia game with video clips, a variety of question types, and a leaderboard to see who really is the most hooked on LMN.

Now in more than 47 million homes, LMN (Lifetime Movie Network) is the number two-rated women's cable network behind Lifetime Television. Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime Television, Lifetime Real Women, Lifetime Home Entertainment and Lifetime Online are part of LIFETIME Entertainment Services, a 50/50 joint venture of The Hearst Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.
