Walt Disney Home Entertainment Sponsors WE's Original Series Two Funny: Cotter & Louise

Series Premieres April 8, 2006 at 10 PM ET

New York, NY, March 21, 2006 - WE: Women's Entertainment, the only cable network dedicated to helping women connect to one another and the world around them, announced today that Walt Disney Home Entertainment has signed on as the exclusive sponsor of WE's original series, Two Funny: Cotter & Louise. As part of the sponsorship agreement, Disney receives on-air presence via tagged tune-ins and billboards and online presence at WE.tv for Pooh's Grand Adventure.

"In Two Funny, WE's viewers will see their own lives reflected in that of the Cotters' as the couple experiences a delicate balancing act, combining marriage and kids with a career," said Arlene Manos, President, Rainbow National Network Advertising Sales. "The series showcases WE's dedication to both the original programming genre and our audience." Two Funny: Cotter & Louise, premiering April 8 at 10 PM ET, is a new half-hour show that follows the lives of Kerri Louise and Tom Cotter, two comedians featured on NBC's Last Comic Standing. The funny duo juggles many roles as a married couple with two year-old twin boys, and also as working comics who travel across the country to keep their careers afloat. Cameras follow the family from late night feedings to late night curtain calls. The series is produced by Burrud Productions.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, for the first time on Disney DVD April 11th. This full-length movie is an original Disney classic inspired by the books of A.A. Milne. In this film, Christopher Robin goes away to school and leaves his friends a note, but they interpret the word "school" as "skull", assume that he is going to a giant skull, and proceed to go on a grand journey to rescue him and find fun and adventure along the way. This enchanting Hundred Acre Woods story has been in the fabled Disney Vault for almost nine years, and has been fully digitally restored and remastered for its DVD debut.

Today's announcement comes on the heels of WE's best season on record to date. The 05/06 season to date is the best in WE's history for Prime M-Su 8p-11p delivery of HH, W18-34, W18-49 and W25-54.
