CBS Has the Top 9 Most Watched Dramas of the Week

CBS Places First in Viewers and Adults 25-54 and a Strong Second in Adults 18-49 In the First Week of the Summer Season

The Thursday Time Period Premiere of "Game Show Marathon" Places First in Viewers and Adults 25-54, Second in Adults 18-49 and Builds on its Wednesday Special Preview

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 as the Network had the top nine most watched dramas, according to Nielsen ratings for the week ending June 4, the first week of the 2006 summer television season.

CSI, WITHOUT A TRACE, CSI: MIAMI SPECIAL, NCIS, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI: NY, THE UNIT, NUMB3RS and COLD CASE ranked as the week's top dramas.

For the week in viewers, CBS (8.73m) topped NBC (7.09m), ABC (5.83m) and FOX (5.63m)

For the week in households, CBS (5.9/10) was +23% ahead of NBC (4.8/08), +55% ahead of ABC (3.8/07) and +64% ahead of NBC (3.6/06).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07, with FOX and -0.1 or -0.06m behind NBC). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +2% in households, +3% in adults 25-54 and +5% in adults 18-49.

CBS was first on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, second on Monday.

� CSI: MIAMI SPECIAL (R) (S) won its time period in households (8.0/14), viewers (11.74m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, behind ABC's basketball coverage).

� NCIS (R) was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (11.23m), adults 25-54 (3.6/10) and second in adults 18-49 (2.5/08).

� THE UNIT (R) was first in households (6.0/10), second in viewers (9.05m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/06).

� CRIMINAL MINDS (R) was tied for first in households (6.8/11, with NBC) and second in viewers (10.14m, -0.11m behind NBC).

� CSI: NY (R) was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (9.81m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08).

� CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (9.2/15), viewers (13.57m), adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and second in adults 18-49 (3.9/11).

� GAME SHOW MARATHON THURSDAY (P) was first in households (5.6/10), viewers (8.33m), adults 25-54 (3.0/09) and second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07). GAME SHOW MARATHON THURSDAY built on its Wednesday debut in viewers by +2% (from 8.18m), by +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/08) and matched its Wednesday's 18-49 delivery.

� TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (7.1/11), viewers (10.61m), second in adults 25-54 (4.1/10, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).
