ABC to Revive 'Extreme Makeover,' Adds Thursdays Run for 'Grey'S'

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is getting a jump on "Grey's Anatomy's" eventual move to Thursdays as repeats of the series will begin airing twice a week - on Sundays at 10:00/9:00c and its new fall home of Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c - starting July 6.
The latter airings - which will be bookended by new episodes of "Master of Champions" and "Primetime" - will undoubtedly help publicize the show's much-ballyhooed move to the night for its third season.
Meanwhile, ABC has confirmed "Extreme Makeover" will return from its year-long hiatus with a handful of new episodes on Thursday, August 3 at 8:00/7:00c. It's not clear how many installments of the series have yet to air.
Newcomers "Big Day" and "Notes from the Underbelly" then will take over the hour in late September or early October as part of ABC's fall lineup.
