ROGUE MAGICIANS PENN & TELLER TO BRING THEIR MAGIC TO TONIGHT'S "AMERICA'S GOT TALENT" LIVE RESULTS SHOW

ROGUE MAGICIANS PENN & TELLER TO BRING THEIR MAGIC TO TONIGHT'S "AMERICA'S GOT TALENT" LIVE RESULTS SHOW

Voting Results From Wednesday's Wildcard Episode Also Revealed

BURBANK, Calif. August 10, 2006 Multiple Emmy-nominees Penn & Teller are set to perform tonight on NBC's summer hit, "America's Got Talent," (9-10 pm ET). Additionally, the tenth and final act to move on to the final stage of the competition will be revealed.

Currently nominated for three Emmy awards, Penn & Teller will perform one of their many popular magic acts during tonight's Wildcard live results show. Afterwards they will treat viewers with a revelation of how they worked their magic.

The duo, which has performed together for 30 years likes to refer to themselves as "a couple of eccentric guys who have learned how to do a few cool things." Since first teaming up in 1975, when they combined Teller's silent, occasionally creepy, magic with Penn's clown college education and juggling expertise, the two have created an entertainment success story that went from the streets to small clubs to national theater tours, and now to a current, multi-year engagement at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Along the way, Penn & Teller have made the hardest trick of all a remarkable career that ranges from stage to television to three best-selling books look easy, and they've done it all on their own, distinctively offbeat terms. Currently, Penn & Teller appear nightly (except Tuesdays) in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.

Additionally, toward the end of tonight's broadcast, the voting results from Wednesday's Wildcard episode will be revealed and America will find out which act they chose to become the tenth and final act to move on to next week's finale and compete for the million-dollar prize.

Hosted by television legend and Emmy-winner Regis Philbin ("Live with Regis and Kelly"), "America's Got Talent" features a colorful array of hopeful future stars -- singers, dancers, comedic performers and unique acts of all ages who have a chance to strut and perform in front of celebrity judge panel Hasselhoff, Brandy and Piers Morgan, who determine which acts make it to the semi-final rounds. During each of the semi-final rounds, one act is chosen by the celebrity judge panel as well as the television viewing audience to move on to the finals. America determines which act will win the million-dollar prize.

Summer-to-date, "America's Got Talent" is the top-rated new summer series of 2006. The show is produced by Simon Cowell's SYCO TV production company and FremantleMedia. Cowell, Ken Warwick, Nigel Hall and Cecile Frot-Coutaz ("American Idol") are the executive producers. Jason Raff ("Three Wishes") and Charles Boyd "American Idol") are the co-executive producers.
