Disney-ABC Television Group Captures 15 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

DISNEY-ABC TELEVISION GROUP CAPTURES 15 CREATIVE ARTS EMMY AWARDS

ABC Leads All Broadcast Networks with 10 Wins, Including Outstanding Reality Series for �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition�

Disney Channel�s �High School Musical� Wins Outstanding Children�s Programming and Outstanding Choreography

Touchstone Television Garners Three Awards for �Grey�s Anatomy� and �The Amazing Race�

At the 2005-2006 Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Award ceremonies, held on Saturday, August 19, Disney-ABC Television Group was honored with 15 Emmy Awards. This total reflects winners for ABC, Disney Channel and Touchstone Television programming.

The ABC Television Network received 10 Emmys, more than any other broadcast network � including Outstanding Reality Program for �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.�

�The 78th Annual Academy Awards� garnered three Emmys, including Outstanding Art Direction for a Variety, Music Program or Special; Outstanding Main Title Design; and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety or Music Series or Special or Animation.

�Boston Legal� won two Emmys, for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series � Christian Clemenson -- and Outstanding Single Camera Sound Mixing for a Series. �Dancing with the Stars� received two Emmys, for Outstanding Technical Direction, Camera Work, Video for a Series, and Outstanding Costumes for a Variety or Music Program.

�Grey�s Anatomy� took home an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series. �The 2005 American Music Awards� also received an Emmy for Outstanding Lighting Direction (Electronic, Multi-Camera) for VMC Programming.

As previously announced, ABC.com won for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television.

Disney Channel�s sensation �High School Musical� won in the Outstanding Children�s Program and Outstanding Choreography categories. Recently released on DVD, it is the industry�s fastest-selling TV movie on DVD of all-time and the fastest-selling TV property on DVD year-to-date.

Touchstone Television was recognized in three categories: Outstanding Cinematography for Nonfiction Programming Multi-Camera Productions and Outstanding Picture Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Large Team Entries - Primarily Multi-Camera Productions) for �The Amazing Race� episode �Here Comes the Bedouin!� The series, which Touchstone Television is a distributor, is produced by Amazing Race Productions Inc. and Touchstone Television in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and WorldRace Productions, Inc. �Grey�s Anatomy� won for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards are dedicated primarily to the many essential crafts and technical disciplines involved in television production. The ceremony will air as a two-hour special on Saturday, August 26, on E! Entertainment Television (check local listings).
