Adult Swim Ranks #1 for 3rd Quarter Total Day Delivery Among Young Adults 18-34

Repeating its top-ranked performance last year, Adult Swim will claim the #1 ranking among ad-supported basic cable networks for third quarter total day delivery of adults 18-34, adults 18-24, men 18-34 and men 18-34, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. This achievement will mark Adult Swim�s sixth straight quarter for #1 delivery of adults 18-24 and men 18-24 since becoming an individually rated network in April 2005. Adult Swim also has ranked #1 in total day delivery of adults 18-34 and men 18-34 for five of the last six quarters. Additionally, the late-night network ranked #6 among ad-supported basic cable networks for total day delivery of adults 18-49 (486,000), and #6 for total day delivery of persons 2+ (1,056,000).
Among Adult Swim�s third quarter programming highlights, the network�s newest original series, Metalocalypse, premiered on Aug. 6 to impressive double-digit gains vs. the previous four weeks across all young adult demos: adults 18-34 delivery grew by 26% and ratings by 25%, while adults 18-24 delivery jumped 32% and ratings by 33%. The Sept. 17 season premiere of Seth Green�s Robot Chicken also enjoyed remarkable delivery and ratings increases vs. its prior season premiere across its target demographics: adults 18-34 delivery increased by 43% and ratings by 38%, while adults 18-24 delivery and ratings both advanced by 67%.
