LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Oxygen has quietly renewed its successful reality series "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" for a second season.
"Janice" ranks as the network's highest rated original series to date among households (0.44), women 18-49 (0.41) and women 18-34 (0.50), making the renewal not much of a surprise.
Production is already underway on the new season, which will launch on Tuesday, January 9 at 10:00/9:00c.
Joining "Janice" that same night at 9:00/8:00c will be "Tease," a new reality competition series in which "world-renowned professionals go head-to-head against a talented newcomer in a timed challenge." Among the possible challenges: "prom hair," "hair Rx" and "celebrity knock-off hair."
Brian Gadinsky and Michael Yuden are behind the project, which comes from The G Group and MY Entertainment.
Meanwhile, the cable channel has confirmed premiere dates for fellow newcomer "Bad Girls Club" and the second season of "Campus Ladies."
Both series will launch on Wednesday, December 6 with "Club" at 10:00/9:00c and "Ladies" at 11:00/10:00c. "Club," from Bunim-Murray Productions, is a docu-soap in which a group of self-proclaimed "bad girls" live in a house together, pledging to help themselves, and each other, change their evil ways.
