DESCRIPTION:
(from Oxygen's web site) From Principato-Young and Executive Producer Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), comes Campus Ladies, a loosely scripted comedy series that proves you are never too old to party like a freshman. Joan and Barry are middle-aged best friends who've decided it's better to be freshmen at 40 than unhappy housewives forever, so they ditch their suburban lives of minivans and malls for keg stands and co-ed dorms. While their classmates think they are closer to breaking a hip than being hip, they're old enough to know that youth is a wonderful thing so why should it be wasted on the young? Campus Ladies is a single-camera comedy series. The show's writers and stars are Carrie Aizley and Christen Sussin, who created the concept on-stage through their work with the LA comedy troupe The Groundlings. Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines executive produces with her husband Paul Young of Principato-Young. Peter Principato and E. Brian Dobbins also produce. First season guest stars include Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee's Playhouse), Will Forte (Saturday Night Live), Anthony Anderson (Barbershop), Justin Long (Dodgeball), and Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live).
