NBC.COM IS ON A ROLL - IT'S THE #1 BROADCAST NETWORK WEBSITE FOR WEEK OF OCTOBER 14

NBC.COM IS ON A ROLL - IT'S THE #1 BROADCAST NETWORK WEBSITE FOR WEEK OF OCTOBER 14 MAKING IT FIRST PLACE THREE WEEKS IN A ROW

BURBANK - October 25, 2006 - NBC.com today announced that its "NBC Rewind" feature -- its large-format, full-episode video player -- reached nearly four million video streams in its third week of release, again helping make nbc.com the #1-ranked broadcast network website in terms of share of total Internet visits for the week of October 14. This increase represents growth of almost one million streams versus the prior week

Additionally, the site's established player delivered nearly three million streams resulting in the total number of streams on nbc.com approaching seven million video streams for the week.

The announcements were made by Jeff Gaspin, President, NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, Digital Content and Cross-Network Strategy.

"We're so pleased by the increase in video streams we're seeing on nbc.com," said Gaspin. "Our audience is embracing our on air programming online, and we're seeing proof of our initial belief that these digital extensions would indeed be additive to our business."

The statistics are based on information provided by Omniture and Hitwise, two of the industry's primary measurement sources.

The average time spent per visit grew five percent to 22.37 minutes for "NBC Rewind," with one quarter of those visits lasting over 30 minutes. The site is also the "stickiest" of all of the broadcast networks' sites, with the average visit to nbc.com lasting 11.3 minutes overall.

According to Hitwise, nbc.com was the #1 ranked broadcast network website in terms of share of total Internet visits for the week of October 14.

"NBC Rewind," an advertising-supported video player, allows viewers to watch episodes of their favorite NBC primetime shows on nbc.com for free.
