Viewers Get Their High-Def Feast on Universal Hd in November
The NBC sibling details its November programming highlights.

VIEWERS GET THEIR HIGH-DEF FEAST ON UNIVERSAL HD IN NOVEMBER

BURBANK, Calif. � October 30, 2006 � Universal HD is preparing a feast of programming in November, centered around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

"We have something for everyone in November," said Dan Harrison, senior vice president emerging networks, NBC Universal cable entertainment. "Thanksgiving weekend in particular has great movies, dog shows and action sports - a great reason to celebrate having an HD set."

On Thanksgiving Day, viewers can spend the holiday with top-quality sports programming followed by an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie marathon � all in high definition. Beginning at 6am (ET), UniHD is featuring The Playstation Pro, the final stop on The 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour, followed at 7pm (ET) by Kindergarten Cop, Junior and Conan The Barbarian.

On Friday, November 24th, UniHD goes to the dogs, starting at 10am (ET). Audiences will be treated to an encore presentation of The 2006 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and the UniHD premiere of The 2006 National Dog Show at 8pm (ET/PT). After that, everyone's favorite St. Bernard is back in high definition in Beethoven's 2nd, Beethoven's 5th and special episodes of Complete Savages.

Saturday, November 25th brings the UniHD premiere of About a Boy, starring Hugh Grant, followed by the Oscar nominated picture Babe. This Saturday Night Double Feature begins at 10pm (ET).

Viewers can relax with UniHD on Sunday, November 26th. Beginning at 12pm (ET) families can gather around for afternoon fun with Hilton Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular, Stealing Christmas, Beethoven's 2nd and Casper. The holiday weekend wraps up with Sci Fi Sunday starting at 7pm (ET) with Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Apollo 13 and the UniHD premiere of Brazil.

Throughout November, UniHD will continue with double features of the biggest films every Thursday and Saturday night, including the premiere of Honey on November 18th, About a Boy on November 25th, and One Night at McCool's on November 9th plus UniHD X-Treme Friday Films, and Sci Fi Sunday Films.

UniHD X-TREME FRIDAYS continue in November on Friday nights at 12am (ET). Featured programming includes action-packed movies Conan The Barbarian, Apollo 13and U-571, plus episodes of The Jeep World of Adventure Sports HD and The 2006 Dew Action Sports Tour.

Notre Dame fans can catch an encore of the North Carolina game on November 5th at 9:30am (ET).
