ROBIN GIVENS AND MEL HARRIS JOIN CAST OF MyNetworkTV's"SAINTS AND SINNERS"

Natalie Martinez of "Fashion House" Also Joins Cast

LOS ANGELES, November 29, 2006 - Actresses Robin Givens and Mel Harris have joined the cast of MyNetworkTV's upcoming serialized drama "Saints and Sinners," scheduled to premiere in 2007. Additionally, Natalie Martinez who appears as Michelle Miller in the network's current series, "Fashion House," is also joining the "Saints and Sinners" cast. The announcements were made today by Paul Buccieri, president, programming, Twentieth Television.

A modern day twist on Romeo and Juliet, "Saints and Sinners" follows two feuding families - the Martins and the Capshaws, owners of rival high-end Miami Beach hotels, whose families have competed and plotted against each other for generations. Their warfare is pushed to new levels when Roman Martin and Julia Capshaw fall in love. Produced by Twentieth Television, "Saints and Sinners" will air 65 hour-long episodes stripped Monday through Friday for 13 consecutive weeks, with recap episodes every Saturday.

"We are thrilled to have these talented actresses joining the cast of 'Saints and Sinners,' said Buccieri. "Both Robin and Mel have a proven record of playing strong women ready to take on any challenge and Natalie has done a terrific job in 'Fashion House' and we're looking forward to working with her again."

Givens will portray Kelly Mitchell, a New York interior designer who develops a crush on Roman, adding him to the long list of men she will go to any length to seduce and conquer, in order to achieve her goal of becoming Miami Beach's hottest hotel designer. Harris joins the cast in the role of Sylvia Capshaw, Julia's loving mother, who although shattered by her husband's murder, isn't afraid to say or do anything to protect both her business and her family. Martinez has been cast in the role of Pilar Martin, Roman's religious sister who innocently falls in love with a mysterious stranger, adding yet another twist to the boiling fight between the Capshaws and Martins.

Robin Givens first made her mark as the beautiful and smart Darlene Merriman on the long-running ABC hit sitcom "Head of the Class." Since then, Givens has gone on to a varied career in both television and film, recently completing production on two upcoming feature films, "Little Hercules in 3-D," starring Elliot Gould and Judd Nelson, and "4-Bidden," featuring Eric Roberts. Other feature credits include, "Head of State," with Chris Rock, Bernie Mac and Keith David; director Reginald Hudlin's "Boomerang," starring Eddie Murphy, Halle Berry, David Alan Grier and Martin Lawrence; and "A Rage in Harlem," with Forest Whitaker, Gregory Hines and Danny Glover. Givens also starred opposite Farrah Fawcett and Melissa Gilbert in the telefilm "Hollywood Wives: The New Generation," based on Jackie Collins' novel, and appeared with Debbie Allen and Ernie Hudson in "Michael Jordan: An American Hero." Additional television credits include roles in "Cosby," "The Cosby Show," "Moesha" and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," among others.

Mel Harris is best known for her role as Hope Murdoch Steadman on the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning series "thirtysomething." Recently, Harris has appeared in guest roles on numerous television series including, "House," "Criminal Minds," "CSI: NY," "Cold Case" and "The West Wing." She also appeared in a recurring role on "Stargate SG-1" and has had roles in numerous made-for-television movies, including "Out of the Woods," "The Retrievers" and "Burden of Proof." Harris can be seen in the upcoming feature films "Arc" and "Purple Heart."
