MYSTERY FANS CAN SNUGGLE UP WITH SLEUTH IN DECEMBER
BURBANK, Calif. � December 4, 2006 � Fans of mystery will find plenty to celebrate on Sleuth in December.
"We are offering viewers a December chock full of their favorite mystery programming," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable Entertainment. "Sleuth continues this month with the most comprehensive amount of mystery programming available on the air."
From Sunday, December 24th through Monday, December 25th, Sleuth is presenting Christmas-themed mystery programming beginning with Stealing Christmas on Sunday at 11am and 7pm (ET) and Monday at 12pm and 8pm (ET). In Stealing Christmas, Jack (Tony Danza) and Harry (David Parker) are small time crooks who attempt to knock off a department store, only to get caught in a huge Christmas Eve sale. Jack ducks into a Photos-With-Santa display and, disguised as Santa, manages to escape. But he then runs into Sarah Gibson (Lea Thompson) who mistakes him for the Santa she hired for her Christmas party. Jack decides to play along, but he gets caught up in the holiday spirit, and begins to have second thoughts about "stealing Christmas."
The celebration continues on Sunday and Monday afternoon with fan favorite Sleuth characters: Michael and K.I.T.T. in Silent Knight, Robert McCall in Back Home, and Baltimore's finest in All Through the House.
Viewers will find marathons of their favorite mystery series during The Sleuth Marathon Week from Tuesday, December 26th through Friday, December 29th:
Karen Sisco � Tuesday, December 26th, 2pm to 12am (ET)
Karen Sisco is Miami's hottest U.S. Marshall. Sleuth is screening all ten episodes of the series.
LA Dragnet � Wednesday, December 27th, 2pm to 12am (ET)
After a day in Miami, Sleuth heads to Los Angeles to join Joe Friday for a full day of investigations from the files of the LAPD. All ten episodes from the series' final season will air.
EZ Streets � Thursday, December 28th, 2pm to 12am (ET)
Sleuth is airing all ten episodes of one of the most critically acclaimed shows of the 1990s.
Miami Vice � Friday, December 29th, 2pm to 8pm (ET)
Sleuth is bringing viewers an afternoon of their favorite two-part episodes, including: Brother's Keeper (pilot), Calderone's Return and Golden Triangle.
Sleuth's first original production, America's Top Sleuths, showcases the top sleuths ever created for television and film, chosen by the channel's online audience. Featuring interviews with Bruce Willis, Cybil Shepherd, Peter Falk, Telly Savalas, Stephen J.Cannell, Jesse Martin, Eddie Griffin and many more, America's Top Sleuths airs Friday, December 29th at 8pm (ET/PT) and& Sunday, December 31st at 12am (ET/PT).
Sleuth Murder Mondays (Mondays at 9pm and 12am (ET)) continue to pile up the body count in December. This month's features are Red Wind, Profile for Murder, Curiosity Kills, The Man Who Wouldn't Die, Thursday, Champagne Murders and Radioland Murders.
Sleuth keeps the heart rates up with Sleuth Action Wednesdays (Wednesdays at 9pm and 12am (ET)). December features are Line of Fire, Singapore Sling, Marked for Murder, The Last Hit, This Gun for Hire and Stick.
