TUBI GREENLIGHTS YA ORIGINAL FILM "SIDELINED 3" AS FINAL INSTALLMENT OF THE HIT FRANCHISE

Noah Beck, Siena Agudong, and Charlie Gillespie Back to Reprise Roles; Michael Medico Directing as Film Begins Production

SAN FRANCISCO, May 7, 2026 - Tubi (www.tubi.tv), Fox Corporation's (NASDAQ: FOXA, FOX) ad-supported streaming service, today announced it has officially greenlit SIDELINED 3, the third and final installment in the hit YA franchise, as it heads into production. Stars Noah Beck (Baywatch) and Siena Agudong (Carrie) are confirmed to reprise their roles as Drayton and Dallas, with Charlie Gillespie (who was recently announced to star in the new Tubi Original Remember Me) also returning in his role as Skyler. Michael Medico (XO: Kitty) is directing the film.

The third film will be set two years later, as USC quarterback Drayton Lahey (Beck) lands in New York City as a Heisman hopeful... but it may turn out he's not just there for football. Somewhere in the city is his former high school sweetheart, Dallas Bryan (Agudong), who is building her new career, navigating her love life alongside Skyler (Gillespie), chasing her dreams, and not looking back. Now, in the city that never sleeps and with everything on the line, Drayton has one shot to prove he's not just chasing a trophy... he's chasing the one who got away. Returning cast includes Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale), Kolton Stewart (Heated Rivalry), Sage Linder (Descendants 3), Asia Lizardo (Sidelined 2: Intercepted), and Jason Fernandes (Sidelined 2: Intercepted).

"The fans have spoken! We're excited to officially greenlight SIDELINED 3," said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi. "The third installment of this beloved YA franchise is fueled by the enthusiastic response to SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED, which shows how Tubi Originals can break through and spark real fandom. Tubi is where stories find their audience, and we're proud to keep delivering content that resonates with young, passionate viewers."

Building on the success of the 2024 hit Tubi Original, SIDELINED: THE QB AND ME, which is based on Wattpad sensation "The QB Bad Boy and Me" by Tay Marley, the sequel SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED delivered standout viewership and major engagement across young, multicultural audiences making it the #1 title on the platform where it has drawn the biggest number of viewers of any title on Tubi in its first 30 days. The sequel also landed on Variety's Streaming Original Movies Chart, which ranks the most-watched streaming originals every week based on data sourced from Luminate's Film & TV Streaming Viewership (M) product.

SIDELINED 3 is produced by McKenna Marshall, Lindsay Macadam, Adam Wescott, Maxwell Mitcheson, Madison Thompson and Jason Fischer, and WEBTOON Productions' David Madden and Jason Goldberg. James Huntsman, Lisa Gutberlet, Kalani Dreimanis executive produced for Blue Fox Entertainment, and Matt Hornburg, Mark Bishop, Tony Chung and Jennifer McCarron for Blue Ant Studios alongside Beck and Agudong.

Tubi continues to attract young and multicultural viewers, with 58% of its audience identifying as Gen Z or Millennials and 47% as multicultural (Nov 2025 MRI Study). With over 300,000 on demand movies and TV episodes and viewers streaming 1 billion hours a month, Tubi has continued to build on the success of SIDELINED with an Originals slate tailored to a new generation of passionate fans. In 2026, coming of age stories HOW TO LOSE A POPULARITY CONTEST starring Sara Waisglass (Ginny & Georgia) and Chase Hudson (Downfalls High), and KISSING IS THE EASY PART starring Asher Angel (Shazam! Fury of the Gods) and Paris Berelc (Alexa & Katie) premiered exclusively on Tubi.
