Designers Face Clutter and Mayhem In This Family Garage Overhaul

NEW YORK - March 5, 2007 - Bravo's "Top Design" finds the remaining seven interior design contestants working together to create a dream garage for the all-American family on Wednesday, March 7 @ 10 PM ET/PT. It's no easy task as they compete to please a demanding family of six - including three precocious kids, two parents, and a dog. Watch what happens as the designers put their skills to the ultimate test in an attempt to turn an unfinished, cluttered garage into a functional space - replete with a stage for the children's plays and costumes; room for the family SUV; a home office space; and a super-plush dog bed. With the help of special guest judge Mark Rios, an award-winning architect, one contestant will create the "Top Design," and another will be sent packing.

Joining host Todd Oldham ("Top Design" host, designer) are judges Jonathan Adler ("Top Design" lead judge, interior designer), Margaret Russell ("Top Design" judge, editor-in-chief of ELLE DECOR Magazine) and Kelly Wearstler ("Top Design" judge, interior designer), who - along with a special guest judge Mark Rios (architect) - will decide who has created the "Top Design," and who will be sent home.

Episode 6: "Life of the Party"
Special Guest Judge: Ben Bourgeois (event producer)
Air Date: March 14 @ 10 PM ET/PT
Party on! The contestants will be split into two teams of three in the sixth "Top Design" challenge and asked to design competing party spaces for Bacardi Limon to entertain guests of ELLE DECOR Magazine. Find out who can really party in this all-new episode.

Episode 7: "Chef's Choice"
Special Guest Judge: Tom Colicchio (Chef)
Air Date: March 21 @ 10 PM ET/PT
The competition gets cookin' in the seventh episode of "Top Design" when the remaining contestants face "Top Chef" Head Judge Tom Colicchio (Chef) in their hardest design challenge yet, to design a chef's private dining room.

Episode 8: "Metropolitan Home Suites"
Special Guest Judge: Linda O'Keeffe (Director of Design & Architecture - Metropolitan Home Magazine)
Air Date: March 28th @ 10 PM ET/PT
The creative juices will flow as the remaining contestants head to the upscale Viceroy Hotel in Los Angeles to design a high-end modern hotel room.

Episode 9: "ELLE DECOR Cover Inspiration"
Special Guest Judge: Michael Berman (furniture and interior designer)
Air Date: April 4 @ 10 PM ET/PT
The strongest remaining interior design contestants select one of 10 ELLE DECOR Magazine covers as inspiration for their design.

Episode 10, Series Finale: "Lofty Designs"
Special Guest Judge: Trudie Styler (film producer, actress)
Air Date: April 11 @ 10 PM ET/PT
And then there were two. The remaining contenders who will strive to create the ultimate "Top Design" will each design the interior of a house -- two separate 1,700 square foot lofts in downtown Los Angeles to be exact. The series winner who creates the "Top Design" will win a brand new 2007 Acadia vehicle from GMC, an editorial feature in ELLE DECOR Magazine, plus the chance to showcase their design skills at ELLE DECOR'S Dining By Design, NYC, a lavish affair where designers, celebrities, and the who's who of fashion convene for a night of style, drama, excitement and spirited collaboration. No pressure though.
