BURBANK, Calif. -- March 13, 2007 -- NBC's new improv comedy challenge series "Thank God You're Here" -- television's most dangerous new comedy challenge premiering Monday, April 9 (9-10 p.m. ET) -- has added a few more brave actors to the guest-star line up.

Joining host David Alan Grier and improv judge Dave Foley will be Kevin Nealon ("SNL," "Weeds"), Bill Bellamy ("Last Comic Standing"), Jane Lynch ("For Your Consideration," "Best in Show"), Richard Kind ("Mad About You"), Edie McClurg ("Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), Wendie Malick ("Just Shoot Me"), Brian Poeshn ("The Sarah Silverman Program") and Harland Williams ("Dumb & Dumber").

In addition, new "America's Got Talent" host Jerry Springer will make a surprise appearance in an upcoming episode.

They join previously announced guest stars including Jennifer Coolidge ("For Your Consideration," "Best in Show"), Bryan Cranston ("Malcolm in the Middle"), Joel McHale (E! Entertainment's "The Soup"), Tom Arnold ("Best Damn Sports Show"), Fran Drescher ("The Nanny"), Fred Willard ("For Your Consideration," "Best in Show"), Nicole Sullivan ("Mad TV," NBC's "Raines"), Angela Kinsey ("The Office"), Kurtwood Smith ("That 70's Show"), George Takei ("Star Trek," "Heroes"), Shannon Elizabeth ("American Pie"), Eddie Kay Thomas ("American Pie"), Former "Seinfeld" Stars Jason Alexander and Wayne Knight and former "SNL" cast member Ana Gasteyer as well as comedians Paul Rodriguez, Tom Green, Chelsea Handler and Mo'Nique.

From the producers of "American Idol," the improv comedy series which originated in Australia -- and continues to be Australia's number one hit for the past two years -- is hosted in America by David Alan Grier ("In Living Color") and presided over by improv judge, Dave Foley ("NewsRadio," "Kids In the Hall"). "Thank God You're Here" showcases the improv skills of a group of four brave actors each week, as they walk into the high wire act known as improv, into a live sketch without a net or script, their only armor and motivation is an unforeseen and unexplained wardrobe change. The only thing the celebrity can count on when walking into the scenario is a desperate greeting from a fellow actor in the skit, proclaiming upon their arrival, "Thank God You're Here!"

"Thank God You're Here" is produced by FremantleMedia North America. Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of FremantleMedia North America ("American Idol"), is the executive producer. Fax Bahr and Adam Small ("The Jamie Kennedy Experiment," "Mad TV") are executive producers. David Alan Grier is producer.
