ABC's "Dream Vote" Over After Two Days

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- In one of the quickest turnarounds of the year, ABC has yanked its new reality series "The Great American Dream Vote" literally two days into its run.
"The George Lopez Show" will return to the Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c slot with back-to-back episodes starting next week. "Lopez" had originally been slated to return on April 25 following the conclusion of "Dream's" five-episode run.
The news doesn't come as much of a surprise as last night's installment finished dead last among adults 18-49 in the Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c hour among all the broadcast networks (a 1.5 rating according to preliminary Nielsen data), behind fourth place "Friday Night Lights" (2.0) on NBC.
It's not clear when or if the three remaining installments will air. A note on the show's official web site simply reads, "The next episode has not yet been scheduled."
