NBC'S 'DEAL OR NO DEAL' HEATS UP JUNE LEADING INTO THE PREMIERES OF NETWORK'S BLAZING NEW SUMMER SERIES
"Deal or No Deal" Season Finale To Air On June 18
BURBANK, Calif. -- May 30, 2007 -- NBC's hit game show "Deal or No Deal," hosted by Howie Mandel, has some surprises up its sleeve when the popular game show finishes its second season this June by leading into the premieres of summer's returning favorites, "America's Got Talent" (June 5), "Last Comic Standing" (June 13) and NBC's newest reality dating series, "Age of Love" (June 18).
On Tuesday, June 5 (8-9 pm ET), Mandel will surprise Mary Mirolla, an expectant mom from Lake Balboa, California, at her house and plays "Deal" on her front lawn, complete with the models, the Banker and her son's favorite performers, The Wiggles. Following this episode, last summer's #1 new series "America's Got Talent" (9-11pm ET) returns for its second season even bigger and better than before! The talent competition series will feature new host Jerry Springer, and new judge Sharon Osbourne ("The Osbournes") who will join actor/singer David Hasselhoff ("Baywatch") and U.K. TV personality Piers Morgan as the celebrity panelists. A colorful array of performers of all ages will strut their stuff for a chance at a one million dollar top prize.
On Wednesday, June 13 (8-9 pm ET), the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade will surprise "Deal" contestant Arthur Joseph in one of the most heartfelt episodes ever. Following this episode is the two-hour, fifth season premiere of the hit series "Last Comic Standing" (9-11pm ET) featuring new host, actor-comedian Bill Bellamy ("Def Comedy Jams," "Any Given Sunday"), new talent scouts -- "Last Comic Standing" alumni Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan and an all new quest -- to find the funniest new comedian in the world.
"Deal or No Deal's" season two finale will conclude on Monday, June 18 (8-9 pm ET) with special guest star Danny Glover ("Lethal Weapon") surprising action movie fanatic, Laurel Martin, a grandmother and schoolteacher from St. Louis, Missouri. Immediately following the season finale is the premiere of NBC's new reality dating series "Age of Love" (9-10 p.m. ET) hosted by popular actor Mark Consuelos ("All My Children"). Tennis star Mark Philippoussis is the lucky bachelor who is looking for an "ace" in the love department among two very different groups of women -- the "Cougars," a bevy of beautiful women in their 40's and the "Kittens" -- a hot pack of women in their 20's. This social experiment will answer the question -- does age really matter when it comes to dating and love?
