SLEUTH TURNS UP THE HEAT THIS JULY WITH ACTION, ADVENTURE, AND BIG LAUGHS

BURBANK, Calif. - June 27, 2007 � Mystery fans can look forward to an extended vacation this July with SLEUTH's "Sizzling Summer" of premieres and encores, as well as a slew of marathons including "Crossover Sunday," "SLEUTH's First Case," and "CHILLER on SLEUTH."

"Sizzling Summer" premieres great movies such as "Basic Instinct" starring Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas on Friday July 6 at 11pm (ET), and "Dragnet" with Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks protecting Los Angeles on Friday July 13 at 11pm (ET). Encores begin with Joshua Jackson in "The Skulls" on Saturday July 7 at 8pm (ET). "The Truth About Charlie" follows on Saturday July 14 at 8pm (ET), Robert Redford and Brad Pitt unite for "Spy Game" on Friday July 20 at 11pm (ET), and Paul Hogan returns to Australia in "Crocodile Dundee II" on Saturday July 21 at 8pm (ET). The heat wave continues with the acclaimed mini-series "Traffic" on Friday July 27 at 11pm (ET), Saturday July 28 at 11pm (ET) and Sunday July 29 at 11pm (ET).

"SLEUTH is bringing back movies every mystery lover is bound to enjoy," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice President Emerging Networks, NBC Universal Cable, "And we'll have exciting marathons to keep the fireworks going all month long."

On Sunday July 8, 11am-2am (ET), watch your favorite heroes join forces on the "Crossover Sunday" marathon, where every episode is two shows in one. The detectives and attorneys of New York and Baltimore team up when "Homicide: Life on the Street" is visited by the cast of "Law & Order" at 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 9pm and 12am (ET). "Magnum, PI" lends a hand to "Simon & Simon" at 12pm, 8pm and 11pm (ET). The "Medical Investigation" team travels to New York to assist the officers and paramedics of "Third Watch" at 1pm, 5pm and 1am (ET), and it's a meeting of the minds when "The Profiler" meets "The Pretender" at 3pm, 7pm and 10pm (ET).

Re-live the beginnings of SLEUTH's legendary detectives during the "SLEUTH First Case" marathon on July 15th. James Garner is the ex-con turned private eye Jim Rockford in the two-part "Rockford Files" pilot at 6am and 4pm (ET), and Ally Walker plays a psychic detective in "Profiler," at 8am and 6pm (ET). Watch Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas re-invent the face of television in the two-part "Miami Vice" pilot at 9am, 2pm and 10pm (ET). Andre Braugher and Kyle Secor star in the most realistic cop drama ever in the pilot of "Homicide: Life on the Street" at 11am and 2am (ET). Finally, Tom Selleck combines business and pleasure as Hawaii's original "Magnum, PI" in the two-hour pilot at 12pm, 8pm and 12am (ET).

NBC Universal's new CHILLER network continues to thrill fans of horror and mystery. Dare to watch this special Chiller on SLEUTH marathon on Sunday July 22, 2pm-2am (ET). Prank calls lead to murder in "I Saw What You Did" at 2pm and 8pm (ET). Michael Caine runs into modern day pirates led by David Warner in "The Island" at 4pm. Rachel Ticotin searches the seedy underworld for her missing friend in "Deconstructing Sarah" at 6pm and 10pm (ET). Gus Van Sant returns to the Bates Motel for "Psycho" (1998) at 12am (ET).

Celebrate the fourth of July with the "Let Freedom Ring" marathon as the heroes of SLEUTH battle injustices and protect freedoms, despite the consequences they face. See stars Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin on the run in "The Getaway" at 6am and 11 am (ET), and James Garner rescuing his son in the comedy Tank at 8 am and 6pm (ET) and doing time for not answering the Grand Jury's questions in "The Rockford Files" at 10am and 5pm (ET). Young district attorneys fight for individual liberties in "Conviction" at 1pm and 11pm (ET). Crockett goes to prison for protecting an informant's identity in "Miami Vice" at 8pm and 5am (ET), and Bayliss must convinces a convict to testify by reuniting him with his daughter on "Homicide: Life on the Street" at 9pm and 4am (ET). Finally, Thomas Magnum attempts to clear his friend on drug charges in "Magnum, P.I." at 10pm and 3am (ET).

Forget the stripes and check out the stars as Crockett and Tubbs investigate familiar faces in the "Miami Vice's Most Wanted" marathon on Sunday July 29, 9am � 3am (ET). Put out an all-points bulletin for Bruce Willis at 9am and 4pm (ET), Terry O' Quinn and Michael Madsen at 10am and 5pm (ET), Dennis Farina at 11am and 6pm (ET), Ben Stiller at 12pm and 7pm (ET), Julia Roberts at 1pm and 8pm (ET), James Brown and Chris Rock at 2pm and 1am (ET) and Michael Chiklis at 3pm and 2am (ET).

Laughs are in store every Tuesday night at 8pm and 11pm (ET) in July on SLEUTH. This month's features are: "Safe Men," "K-911," "Pure Luck," "Body Count" and "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!"
