THE HOT TAMALE TRAIN IS OFF AND RUNNING FOR SEASON FOUR OF EMMY-NOMINATED "SO YOU THINK CAN DANCE" ON FOX
FOX has already ordered a fourth season of this summer's hottest show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, to air in 2008.
On the hit series hosted by Cat Deeley, dancers skilled in everything from Hip-Hop to Broadway to Ballroom compete to be named America's favorite and win the grand prize. Some dancers will be sent soaring skyward while others will be sent home. The current season's winner will receive $250,000 and will perform in the nationwide SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE tour featuring Top 10 dancers from the series. Last year's tour sold out in a matter of minutes. 2007 tour details will be announced soon.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE's Wednesday and Thursday telecasts rank among the summer's Top 3 regular programs in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and rank No. 1 in their respective time periods among all key demos. Overall, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE exceeds its year-ago performance for comparable telecasts by +3% among Adults 18-49.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on FOX. The two-night, four-hour Season Three finale airs Wednesday, Aug. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, Aug. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), preceded by a special results show Tuesday, Aug. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
