The Vodcast will Consist of 12 Episodes with Weekly Guests Including Billy Magnussen, Alison Brie, Jason Ritter, Nathan Fillion, Eli Roth, Lamorne Morris and More

NEW YORK - May 18, 2026 - AMC Global Media and Host, Comedian and Podcast pioneer Chris Hardwick today announced a new partnership on the relaunch of the "I Think You're Overthinking It" podcast which focuses on pop culture, movies, TV, music, comedy and more, all through the lens of overthinking. The audio and video podcast, which tapes in Los Angeles will feature weekly guests, including Billy Magnussen (The Audacity, Lilo & Stitch), Alison Brie (Glow, Community) Nathan Fillion (The Rookie, Castle), Jason Ritter (Matlock, Captain Fall), Eli Roth (Ice Cream Man, Borderlands), and Lamorne Morris (New Girl, Fargo) with more to be announced. "I Think You're Overthinking It" vodcast consists of 12 hour-long episodes and will be available weekly across AMC Global Media's broader distribution system, including AMC+, All Reality, FAST channels, YouTube and digital/podcast platforms, beginning Sunday, May 31.

In this vodcast series, comedian and pop culture enthusiast Hardwick invites friends and fellow celebrities for deep-dive, free-flowing conversations that explore the intersection of personal hobbies, life lessons, and the obsessive side of fandom - all while attempting to navigate the beautiful, neurotic mess of overthinking everything.

"We are delighted to collaborate and reunite with Chris, who has an unmatched ability to tap into the heart of pop culture - whether its music, movies, TV and all the wonderful corners of fandom - and turn that curiosity into smart, entertaining conversation," said Ben Davis, EVP of scripted programming for AMC Global Media. "This podcast is a natural extension of the world our audiences love, and we couldn't be more excited to bring his voice and perspective back into the AMC Global Media family."

"AMC and I had been looking for the right way to work together again after 'Talking Dead' wrapped in 2022 and this felt like a natural fit. I stepped away from podcasting that same year for a bit during a parenting hiatus, and when I brought the show back last year, it evolved into 'I Think You're Overthinking It.' The podcast has always been rooted in conversations about curiosity, anxiety, fandom, creativity, all the ways our brains can spiral when we care deeply about something, and how to get out of our own way. When AMC saw an opportunity to expand it into a video series, it felt like the perfect next step," said Hardwick.

The podcast is a co-production with AMC Studios and ID1OT with Drama 3/4 producing.

Hardwick previously hosted AMC Global Media's Emmy-nominated series Talking Dead, the long-running after-show for The Walking Dead franchise, where he discussed the latest episode with cast members, show producers, fans and other actors. Talking Dead is available on AMC+.

About Chris Hardwick

Chris Hardwick is a comedian, actor, TV host, author, writer, producer, and pop-culture enthusiast best known for hosting the two-time Emmy Award-winning Comedy Central series @midnight, which ran for 600 episodes.

Hardwick recently returned to podcasting with I Think You're Overthinking It, a reimagining of his longtime show. The new title reflects his ongoing relationship with anxiety, over-analysis, and the mental spirals that come from thinking just a little too much about everything. Through conversations and comedy, he digs into how people can quiet the noise, try new things later in life, and avoid talking themselves out of the goals that matter. The podcast keeps the loose, conversational tone of the original while focusing more directly on creativity, overthinking, and navigating an always-on world.

Hardwick also currently hosts NBC's The Wall, which returns August 19th with new episodes. The series was also recently nominated for a 2026 Critics Choice Real TV Award for Best Game Show. He serves as an executive producer on the series alongside LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Andrew Glassman. His past hosting credits include the Emmy-nominated Talking Dead, the long-running after-show for The Walking Dead franchise, and the CW's Up for Auction, co-produced with Brian Volk-Weiss' Nacelle Company.

Hardwick recently entered his sixteenth-year podcasting and has featured an impressive roster of guests including Sir Paul McCartney, Jordan Peele, Tom Hanks, Guillermo del Toro, Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joaquin Phoenix, Jodie Foster, Colman Domingo, and Tina Fey.

Hardwick is also one of today's most active touring comedians and continues to perform stand-up across the United States. Hardwick's new comedy special "The Middle Ages" will be released later this year with 800 Pound Gorilla Media.

He lives in California with his wife, Lydia, and their daughter, Dimity.
