FX TEAMS WITH MYSPACE TO OFFER A SPECIAL SNEAK PREVIEW EPISODE FROM THE UPCOMING THIRD SEASON OF IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA

"Mac is a Serial Killer" Will Air Exclusively on MySpace Starting August 16th

Season Three of Sunny premieres on FX September 13th at 10 pm e/p

August 15, 2007, Los Angeles - In an added promotional push for the September 13th third season premiere of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, FX has teamed with MySpace to give fans of the comedy series an exclusive sneak preview episode from the upcoming season, "Mac is a Serial Killer," which will run online on MySpace from August 16th through the 23rd. During that time, fans can logon to www.myspace.com/sunnyfx and watch the brand new episode, which will air on FX later in the season.

In "Mac is a Serial Killer," Mac's (Rob McElhenney) usual behavior leads Frank (Danny DeVito), Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Dee (Kaitlin Olson) to suspect that he's the serial killer that's on the loose in Philly. They devise a plan to catch Mac in the act, while Charlie (Charlie Day) utilizes the vast legal knowledge he's learned from TV shows to prove Mac's innocence. When the gang learns the true reason for Mac's mysterious behavior, they are even more sickened and horrified by their friend's behavior.

Sunny returns to FX for its third season on Thursday, September 13th with two all-new episodes back-to-back at 10:00 and 10:30 pm e/p. FX has ordered 15 new episodes for season three which will air over the course of 10 weeks. During the first five weeks, FX will air two new episodes back-to-back at 10:00 and 10:30 pm e/p every Thursday. During the final five week of the third season run (beginning October 18), FX will air one new episode at 10:00 followed by a repeat episode from season two at 10:30 pm e/p.

Sunny features Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Sweet Dee and Frank, five ne'er-do-wells who own and operate Paddy's Pub in Philadelphia. Their constant scheming to get ahead by not-so-redeemable methods usually lands them in a world of hurt, yet they never seem to learn from their mistakes.
