Deja Vu: ABC Shuffles Wednesday Lineup (Again)
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC is rearranging the deck chairs on Wednesday night once again, this time sending "NASCAR in Primetime" back to 10:00/9:00c and dropping its "Primetime: The Outsiders" repeats.

Filling the void in the 9:00/8:00c hour will be a pair of "Just for Laughs" repeats. Back-to-back "According to Jim" repeats will continue to air starting at 8:00/7:00c.

Said changes will only affect the network's September 5 and September 12 schedules. On September 19, look for the one-hour special "Come Rain or Come Shine: From Grey's Anatomy to Private Practice" at 9:00/8:00c with an encore of "Primetime: Medical Mysteries" at 10:00/9:00c. The network's fall schedule for the night then takes over on September 26.

It's not clear if the aforementioned special will be simply a re-edited version of "Practice's" two-hour backdoor pilot, a behind-the-scenes look at the spin-off or a mix of both. Further details obviously will be released in the coming weeks.
