CELEBRITIES, SHOWGIRLS, WEDDINGS, POKER AND MORE MONTEL in VEGAS for PREMIERE WEEK

Airdate: Monday, September 10 - Wednesday 12, 2007

New York, NY September 4, 2007 - For the first three episodes of premiere week, THE MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW takes viewers inside the heart of Las Vegas, starting Monday, September 10th. Shot entirely on location in Las Vegas, these special episodes include intimate interviews with illusionist Criss Angel and legendary songstress Toni Braxton. Apprentice 3 winner Kendra Todd takes Montel on an exclusive high-roller tour of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino...and that's just the famous folk. The show also makes a viewer's dreams come true and surprises a young, struggling couple with a very special Vegas-style wedding. And on Wednesday, September 12th, Sylvia Brown travels to Vegas, where she interacts with a live audience in a special one-hour episode.

World-renowned illusionist Criss Angel gives Montel the first-ever look at his top-floor home in the Presidential Suite at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, where he's performed his magic-based show, "Criss Angel Mindfreak," for the last two years. Dubbed "the new Houdini," Angel demonstrates some of his skills for Montel, which include mentalism, hypnosis, illusion and escape. During a revealing sit-down interview with Montel, Angel shares personal details about his father's tragic death and other intimate moments of his life. And, in a tour of the Luxor Galleria, fans mob the duo during a shopping trip to Angel's eponymously named "Official Mindfreak" store.

Multi-Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton serenades Montel at The Flamingo Hotel, where she performs nightly. Cameras also capture the two singing together, and Braxton later sits down for an intimate chat about career highs and lows and the challenge of raising an autistic child.

Apprentice 3 winner Kendra Todd takes Montel on a high-roller tour of the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, including the celebrity-studded Rush Lounge; $30-million pool, complete with a 200,00-gallon shark tank, and VIP suites.

And what would a trip to Vegas be without a little gambling? Montel warms up by joining Ray Romano, Matt Damon and a slew of other celebrities for Don Cheadle's "Ante Up For Africa" charity poker tournament, to raise money and increase awareness for the crisis in Darfur. Next, he's pitted against Ben Affleck and professional poker players in the 2007 World Series of Poker and then raises the stakes even higher by organizing his own high-roller game, which includes Brad Garrett, to benefit The Montel Williams MS Foundation.

Montel surprises a young couple with a traditional Vegas wedding at the legendary Little White Wedding Chapel. Bridget Danna and Christopher Cook, from Pasadena, TX, who's wedding date is the lucky 07.07.07, can tell their friends they have a common bond with Britney Spears, Michael Jordan and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore who've also chosen the nostalgic chapel for their I Do's.

Luck also strikes Melinda Wandel, a 26-year-old housewife. The Vegas resident and mother of two has her dreams come true when Montel turns her into an instant Jubilee! showgirl. Wandel received the full-on showgirl treatment from the renowned troupe, wearing the requisite sequins, crystals, feathers, and 20lb headdress, plus a crash-course in the art of sashaying across a stage, much to the delight of her happy husband in the audience.

The show is offering viewers a chance to win "MONTEL'S ULTIMATE VEGAS ADVENTURE SWEEPSTAKES" by giving away five vacation packages for two, that mirrors much of what they will see on the show. For more information, go to http://www.montelshow.com/.

THE MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW is a Mountain Movers production in association with CBS Television Distribution. Montel Williams is Executive Producer and Melanie McLaughlin is Executive Producer. Susan Henry and Kim Forman-Brechka are Co-Executive Producers.
