DANE COOK GUEST STARS ON TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF 'LAST COMIC STANDING' WEDNESDAY AT 9 PM AS THE FINAL TWO CONTESTANTS ENJOY A ROUSING ROAST BY FELLOW COMICS BEFORE WINNER IS REVEALED

BURBANK, Calif. September 17, 2007 After an extensive international search, NBC's lively laughfest "Last Comic Standing" will finally reveal who is the funniest new comic in the world in Wednesday night's exciting show conclusion (Sept. 19, 9-11 p.m. ET). In this two-hour finale, finalists Lavell Crawford and Jon Reep will be roasted by fellow comics, including renowned roaster Jeffrey Ross, top 10 finalist Doug Benson and talent scout and season three winner Alonzo Bodden. In addition, they will be reunited with the other top 10 finalists and the talent scouts, in a show that will include vignettes, challenge highlights, and performances by special guest comedians. Additionally there will be a surprise appearance by Dane Cook, who can be seen in the upcoming feature film"Good Luck Chuck," to wish the contestants good luck.

Each comic had endured grueling challenges and heart-pounding voting rounds to make it to the final showdown where only one can claim the coveted title of "last comic standing" -- and the grand prize of $250,000, an exclusive talent contact with NBC Universal and his or her own half-hour comedy special on Bravo.

Host Bill Bellamy, along with the talent scouts Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan, traveled the world as "Last Comic Standing" broadened its search this season. Auditions were held in London, Montreal, Sydney, Australia, Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Tempe.

"Last Comic Standing" is produced by Peter Engel Productions, Magical Elves and NBC Universal Television Studio. The executive producers are Peter Engel ("Saved By the Bell," "The Next Best Thing"), Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz (Bravo's "Top Chef") and Barry Katz ("Action," "Dane Cook's Tourgasm"), and Javier Winnik ("Last Comic Standing," "Treasure Hunters") is the co-executive producer.
