JOHN FRANCIS DALEY JOINS "BONES" AS SERIES REGULAR
John Francis Daley has joined the cast of the FOX series BONES as a series regular. Daley plays "Dr. Lance Sweets," a young FBI-appointed therapist with whom Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) are ordered to meet in order to determine if their crime-solving partnership can continue.
Of Daley's addition to the cast, BONES creator and executive producer Hart Hanson said: "He is terrifically funny and very appealing while projecting intelligence, which injects his scenes with all our actors, especially Emily and David, with a kind of rollicking energy that is a real bonus and he fits in perfectly with the cattywonkers tone of our show."
Daley's television credits include the critically acclaimed Judd Apatow series "Freaks and Geeks," "The Geena Davis Show," "Boston Public" and "Kitchen Confidential." He stars in the upcoming film "5-25-77"; additional film credits include the recent release "Waiting" and the mocumentary comedy "Here I Am," which he wrote and starred in. Daley and his writing partner Jonathan Goldstein recently sold their first feature film project, "The 40 Thousand Dollar Man," to New Line Cinema.
BONES airs Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. On Oct. 23, BONES posted its highest Total Viewer numbers so far this season. The series is also showing impressive increases season-to-date including +17% in Adults 18-49, +11% in Adults 18-34 and +31% in Teens.
BONES is from Farfield Productions and Josephson Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan are executive producers.
