BBC AMERICA PUTS A NEW SPIN ON DANCING WITH THE STARS

BBC AMERICA opens the dance floor with the acquisition of the second season of the hit reality competition series, Dancing with the Stars.

� Dancing with the Stars Season 2 (8 x 120), produced and distributed by BBC Worldwide America, premieres Sunday, January 6, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on BBC AMERICA.

Dancing with the Stars, which recently concluded its fifth, top-rated season on ABC, is the U.S. format of the BBC�s Strictly Come Dancing, the international hit series that pairs celebrities and professional ballroom dancers. Cable channel BBC AMERICA will revisit the second season, combining the performance and results shows into two-hour episodes.

In the second season, Drew Lachey (Host of Dance War: Bruno Vs. Carrie Ann) and Cheryl Burke quick-stepped their way to the top after going toe to toe with Jerry Rice, Stacy Keibler, Lisa Rinna, George Hamilton, Tia Carrere, Tatum O�Neal, Master P, Giselle Fernandez, and Kenny Mayne.

The hosts of Dancing with the Stars are Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris. The judges are renowned ballroom judge, Len Goodman, and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
