The 34th Annual People's Choice Awards Goes Global
On the heels of the new format change announcement, the production team has been traveling the globe to film over 25 acceptance speeches.

"THE 34TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS" GOES GLOBAL

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 - On the heels of the new format change announcement, the production team of THE 34th ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS has been traveling the globe to film over 25 acceptance speeches and these winners will be revealed on the show hosted by Queen Latifah, to be broadcast tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 8 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Crews have spanned the world bringing the coveted crystal statue to the USO tour in Kabul, Afghanistan, the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn., the Daytona International Speedway in Orlando, Fla., as well as additional locations in New York, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Palm Springs, Calif. and Sydney, Australia. In some cases the Crest + Scope "Smile Bright in the Spotlight" trophy presenter, Yomarie Tejada, was on hand to let the winner know that they are the people's choice. Celebrities were met on their sets, at home, on tour, outside, with our troops and in a variety of other settings.

This year, fans logged over 10 million votes for their favorites. Three categories, Favorite New TV Comedy, Favorite New TV Drama and Favorite User-Generated Video, are still open for voting until 10:00 PM ET on Tuesday, Jan. 8th at www.pcaVOTE.com

In addition to featuring this year's winners, clips of memorable "Choice Moments" from the past 33 "People's Choice Awards" ceremonies will be incorporated into the show.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS is fully sponsored by products of Procter and Gamble, which is represented by MediaVest Worldwide, Inc., supervisors of the production.
