LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "According to Jim," ABC's longest running scripted program currently on the air, is going to run a little bit longer.
The Alphabet confirmed this week production will be completed on all 18 episodes ordered for the 2007-08 season.
11-12 episodes are believed to have been shot before the strike with the other six to seven set to begin filming next month.
It's not clear however where those episodes will turn up as the Tuesday edition of "Dancing With the Stars" will take over its 9:00/8:00c slot starting March 18.
One assumes "Jim" could slide into the 8:00/7:00c hour at some point, which currently houses back-to-back episodes of "Just for Laughs."
Jim Belushi, Warren Bell, Suzanne Bukinik, Jonathan Stark, Marc Gurvitz, John D. Beck, Ron Hart, John Peaslee and Judd Pillot are the executive producers of "Jim," which comes from ABC Studios.
