THE CLOSER Gets in Style on QVC(R)

QVC to Offer Fans a Specially Created Version of Brenda's Black Bag Beginning Tuesday, July 8

TNT's THE CLOSER, Starring Golden Globe(R)-Winning Actress Kyra Sedgwick, Returns for its Fourth Season Monday, July 14 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

Fans of THE CLOSER, ad-supported cable's #1 series of all-time, love all things about the show, from Brenda Leigh Johnson's interrogations to her sometimes-troubled love life. But the thing some of them really covet is her trademark black bag.

While the bag used on the show is one-of-a-kind, TNT, Warner Bros. Television and QVC have come together to offer fans the opportunity to purchase a specially created version of Brenda's black bag through QVC. THE CLOSER Tote Bag (QVC item #A84730) will be unveiled on www.QVC.com Tuesday, July 8, and is scheduled to be offered Monday, July 21, at 8 p.m. (ET) during QVC's Fall Fashion Designer Gallery broadcast.

"Brenda has become an icon to her diehard fans," said Tricia Melton, senior vice president of marketing for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). "They've asked for a chance to buy a copy of her bag, and we listened. We are thrilled to have developed a relationship with QVC to allow fans of THE CLOSER to have a piece of the show they love."

The QVC broadcast will include highlight clips from THE CLOSER, plus behind-the-scenes footage from the series promoting the new season on TNT.

Brenda, as played by Kyra Sedgwick, is a former Atlanta detective who moved to Los Angeles to head a special LAPD unit that solves sensitive, high-profile murder cases. She is a top-notch investigator and interrogator, but she also has a complex personal life.

THE CLOSER, which debuted in 2005, has been the hottest series on cable for three years running. Last year, THE CLOSER's summer finale in September drew nearly 10 million viewers, setting a cable record. The ground-breaking series is back for a fourth season Monday, July 14, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

THE CLOSER Tote Bag will be available on www.QVC.com or by calling (800) 345-1515 for approximately $59.00, while supplies last.

Turner Network Television (TNT), television's destination for drama and one of cable's top-rated networks, offers original movies and series, including the acclaimed and highly popular detective drama The Closer, starring Kyra Sedgwick; Saving Grace, starring Holly Hunter; Raising the Bar, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gloria Reuben and Jane Kaczmarek; and Leverage, starring Timothy Hutton. TNT is also home to powerful one-hour dramas, such as Bones, Cold Case, Law & Order, Without a Trace, ER and Charmed; broadcast premiere movies; compelling prime-time specials, such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards(R); and championship sports coverage, including NASCAR and the NBA. TNT is available in high-definition.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner company, creates and programs branded news, entertainment, animation and young adult media environments on television and other platforms for consumers around the world.
