WE tv Adds New Bridal Series to Original Programming Slate

New Original Series 'My Fair Wedding' Joins Fastest Growing Ad-Supported Cable Network Targeting Women

New York, NY - July 7, 2008 - Expanding the network's successful line-up of unscripted bridal shows, WE tv will launch a new original bridal series this fall titled My Fair Wedding. Featuring celebrity party planner David Tutera, the new series rescues weddings headed for disaster and turns them into platinum-style affairs. Six one-hour episodes will premiere October 26 at 10:00 p.m. as part of WE tv's 'WE Go Bridal' programming block, which airs back-to-back wedding fare every Sunday night.

"David's philosophy of 'celebrating your life in style' and his expertise in transforming ordinary events into extraordinary affairs makes this series a perfect match for WE tv," said Kim Martin, EVP and general manager for WE tv. "My Fair Wedding joins our successful roster of hit bridal series including Bridezillas and Platinum Weddings, which have made WE tv the go-to network for all things bridal."

In each My Fair Wedding episode David Tutera and his team help beleaguered friends and family members rehab a soon-to-be-disaster wedding while trying to teach an out-of-touch and out of control bride a little class. Celebrity event planner David Tutera is tasked with teaching these unruly brides the elements of proper speech, poise and charm, transforming them and their events into spectacular affairs.

An innovator in the entertaining arena, Tutera takes pride in helping the brides-to-be make creative choices for unique, one-of-a-kind weddings. David comes on the scene a mere three weeks before the nuptial event making eleventh-hour changes ranging from throwing out the bridesmaid dresses to changing the venue. Whether creating a couture look for the bride, selecting spectacular decorations, or simply making sure they keep to a healthy diet in preparation for their big day, David will be there to coach the couples into wedding day bliss.

WE tv will also offer exclusive video features of My Fair Wedding on its WEtv.com homepage and WE Go Bridal online channel, along with an episode guide, cast bios and wedding planning tips from David and his team. WE tv viewers will also be able to speak to David himself through his interactive blog to get the inside scoop and advice for their own big day.

Leading entertaining expert, David Tutera is an award winning event and wedding planner who boasts a roster of celebrity clients including Barbara Walters, Jennifer Lopez and The Rolling Stones. He's been honored by Modern Bride as one of the Top 25 Trendsetters of 2006; and Life & Style named him one of the Best Celebrity Wedding Planners of 2005.

WE tv recently announced that for the second quarter 2008 and season to date, the network ranks number one in growth among cable networks targeting women ages 18-49 (+71%) and 25-54 (+50%). These results demonstrate a dramatic increase in younger viewers, due to the network's commitment to original programming such as High School Confidential, Bridezillas and Platinum Weddings, which have generated record-breaking ratings for the network.
