Sleuth Sets the Stakes High in August with Big Laughs and Big Names
And coming this September: David Hasselhoff is back in classic episodes of "Knight Rider."

SLEUTH SETS THE STAKES HIGH IN AUGUST WITH BIG LAUGHS AND BIG NAMES

BURBANK, Calif. � July 24, 2008 � It's big laughs and high stakes this August on Sleuth. This month, Sleuth presents a "High Stakes Weekend" featuring the toughest guys and gals in the business. Viewers will laugh all month long with a surplus of clumsy crime solving featuring some of the funniest names in comedy. Sleuth Murder Mondays continue with a new reality series "Captured" and "Relentless."

"Sleuth is bringing comedy and crime together to give our audience the best summer viewing options possible," said Dan Harrison, Senior Vice-President, Emerging Networks, NBC Universal. "Viewers will thrill to Robert DeNiro in "Casino," the legendary laughs of "Naked Gun 2 �" and the gritty true stories of "Captured" without ever having to change the remote."

Viewers can start off the month of August with some of the greatest stars in "Casino" on Friday, August 1 at 8pm and 11:30pm ET starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci, as part of Sleuth's "High Stakes Weekend." Also, see Sharon Stone's early appearance in a 2-hour "Magnum, P.I." at 6pm and 3am ET. Saturday, August 2, viewers will continue on the fast lane with the premiere of "Speed 2: Cruise Control" at 8pm and 11:30pm ET.

This August on Sleuth, three well-known rockers pay a visit to the small screen. Glenn Frey, Phil Collins and Frank Zappa visit "Miami Vice" on Sunday, August 3 from 4-7pm ET. Eric Bogosian ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent") goes from "Miami Vice" at 7pm ET to the controversial host of "Talk Radio" at 8pm and 12am ET. Then, Clint Eastwood stars in "Play Misty for Me" at 10pm and 2am ET.

The laughs don't stop during the weekend of August 29-31. Leslie Nielsen is in over his head in "Naked Gun 2 �: The Smell of Fear" on Friday, August 29 at 8pm and 11pm ET. Viewers will be laughing all day on Saturday, August 30 with Dana Carvey in "Opportunity Knocks" at 8am and 2pm ET, Matthew Broderick in "The Freshman" at 10am and 4am ET, Keifer Sutherland and Woody Harrelson in "The Cowboy Way" at 12pm ET, Dabney Coleman in "Cloak and Dagger" at 4pm ET, Chevy Chase in "Cops and Robbersons" at 6pm ET and Ben Stiller in "Mystery Men" at 8pm and 11:30pm ET. Ben Stiller returns for an episode of Miami Vice at 10:30pm ET. On Sunday, August 31, "The Cowboy Way" returns at 6am ET, followed by Whoopi Goldberg in "Jumpin' Jack Flash" at 8am and 4pm ET, "Cops and Robbersons" at 10am ET and "Cloak and Dagger" at 12pm ET. Bruce Willis is "Hudson Hawk" at 8pm and 12:30am ET and legendary con artists Paul Newman and Robert Redford wrap up the weekend in "The Sting" at 10pm and 2:30am ET.

Sleuth Murder Mondays become deadlier than ever on August 4 with the premieres of reality series "Captured" at 8pm and 12am ET and "Relentless" at 8:30pm and 12:30am ET. Then, "Dateline on Sleuth" returns with more reports of death and danger at 9pm and 3am ET. Each week, viewers will continue to see a thrilling Murder Monday Movie at 10pm and 1am ET.
