LOST (ABC) - Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are reportedly in talks with ABC Studios to renegotiate their contracts on the series. Each is said to take in about $150,000 per episode while the majority of the supporting players are in the $80,000-90,000 per episode range. It's believed after word leaked about Fox and Lilly, some of the other regulars have contacted the studio about their own contracts.
WHITE COLLAR (USA) - Matthew Bomer ("Traveler") has scored the lead role on the 90-minute drama pilot, about a brilliant con artist who, against his will, partners with the head of FBI's white-collar crime unit to solve cases. He'll play Neal Caffrey, whom the casting notice details as follows: "Early-Mid 30s. He would give Cary Grant a run for his money. Neal is a true renaissance criminal, expert art forger and con man extraordinaire. He is able to size up people in an instant and charm them into willingly giving him anything he wants, occasionally breaking a law or two along the way. He is brilliant (170 IQ), captivating and has always, up until his unfortunate incarceration, lived a charmed life. We meet Neal as he escapes prison searching for his lost love. This puts him on Peter Stokes' radar... again. Peter's earlier obsession with Neal and all that he has done enables him to catch Neal when every other federal agent has failed. Neal and Peter team up to solve a crime and discover that they have met their match in each other." His casting lifts said contingency off the pilot's production. Jeff Eastin is behind the project, which is based at Fox Television Studios.
