CMT TAKES REDNECK WEDDINGS TO THE EXTREME WITH "CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER"

Host Tom Arnold Helps One Lucky Florida Couple Have the Unique Wedding of Their Dreams

NASHVILLE August 18, 2008 CMT makes dreams come true for one deserving couple in CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER. Like the series, CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER features a down-home couple, Elaine and Bruce of Stuart, Fla., who have chosen to celebrate their love in true country style. Only this time, CMT and host Tom Arnold are stepping in to surprise this lucky couple with the redneck wedding of a lifetime. CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER premieres Saturday, August 30 at 8:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.

CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER features Elaine and Bruce, who had one great weekend together in high school, but then went their separate ways. Years later, the two ran into each other at a bar while Elaine was on a date. Elaine slipped Bruce her number, and they have been inseparable ever since. The couple had high hopes for their small-town, shoe-optional wedding; they wrote their invitations on paper napkins, planned a mud pit ceremony at the Horse Hole Mud Bog and instructed their bridesmaids and groomsmen to wear their finest tank tops and cut-off shorts.

As the wedding day approaches, however, Elaine and Bruce learn that not everything is moving along according to plan. They have trouble finding a minister, their caterer falls through and there is not enough money in their budget for real flowers. Luckily for them, Arnold and his crew arrive with a few tricks up their sleeves to make this event CMT's BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER, complete with a giant matrimonial beer slide, a mud themed wedding cake and an oversized beer can archway. Stepping in to save the day, Arnold convinces a local Hooters restaurant to cater, seeks the advice of a local preacher and gets ordained online to officiate this eccentric affair.

CMT'S BIGGEST REDNECK WEDDING EVER is executive produced by Kimberly Belcher Cowin and John Ehrhard of Pink Sneakers Productions. Bob Kusbit and Lewis Bogach serve as executive producers for CMT.
