IN TREATMENT (HBO) - Paris Barclay has been upped to executive producer for the show's upcoming second season. The drama veteran served as a co-executive producer during its inaugural run and helmed a dozen installments. He's expected to do the same for its sophomore run, which will roll out sometime next year. Hagai Levy, Warren Leight, Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson also serve as executive producers.
LAPD (NBC) - Regina King ("24"), Kevin Alejandro ("Shark") and Michael McGrady ("Day Break") have all been cast in the drama pilot, an ensemble which follows a group of police officers in Los Angeles. In addition, "The O.C." alum Benjamin McKenzie is in early talks to join the project, which comes from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television. King will play Lydia, a smart, sympathetic detective in the Hollywood division; with Alejandro as Nate, a detective who is happily married with three kids and another on the way; and McGrady as Sal. McKenzie's role wasn't specified. Ann Biderman penned the pilot script, to be directed by Christopher Chulack. The pair are also executive producing alongside Wells.
